About
About us
A strong emphasis onboth emerging talentand world-class DJs.
Shelter is the underground club below the A’DAM Toren, across the IJ river.
We bring people together through music, to hear their favorite artists and stumble into sounds they didn’t know they needed. With two areas and no fixed script, we move from (minimal) house to trance, afro house, Italo disco and everything that fits in between. Emerging talent and world-class DJs share the same booth, because both belong here.
Our Funktion-One sound system keeps every note crystal clear, and the LED screens on the ceiling do the rest. Atmosphere, light and sound, all pointed at one thing: the dancefloor.
