Monoloc

Given his releases on some of techno music’s most prominent labels many will already be familiar with Monoloc. After taking his first musical steps on CLR in his native city Frankfurt he relocated to Berlin in 2014 where he captured the attention of Dixon and Âme who included his “Flaneur” on the Innervisions Secret Weapons Part 7 EP. Since then, he’s continued to add to an impressive discography, sharing music through Hotflush before dropping a poignant, leftfield LP on Rødhåd’s Dystopian in 2016—a captivating release that marked an evolution in his sleek and punchy sound. It was termed the label’s “jewel in the crown“ by Mixmag. As a DJ he is a musically versatile artist who likes to get lost in his sonic worlds, taking in freely all types of influences from different genres and incorporating them into his productions. In spite of this, his heart beats strongly for Techno –– the heartbeat of his hometown Frankfurt, which has inspired him so generously.

VNTM

VNTM is an Amsterdam based live act and musician that has been playing his take on techno at numerous big festivals around the globe, appearing with his machines and only playing out his own material. The sound of VNTM is a blend between modern day techno and contemporary progressive melodies. By the use of haunting chords, mysterious strings and dark basses VNTM tries to take the listeners on a journey through his mind and aims to visualise a unique storyline during every performance. Dark, yet uplifting, mysterious and elusive are all terms that come to mind when exploring the sound of the young dutchman.
