Laurine & Cecilio
About the artists
Andy is making waves at the moment. Head honcho of Picnic Records; record label and parties. Always searching for good and special records that stick out. Steady customer of the Killacutz shop. True selector and Don behind the decks!
Laurine’s roots for her love of house music go deep, stretching back to her youth, which was stirred by an intense fascination with US House and Techno music. Reflecting the sound of her music, one word to describe Laurine is deep.
Cecilio is a real digger and in his shelves and record bags, you usually find a kaleidoscope covering genres like Funk, Disco, Afro, Dub and Breaks, and above all, an amalgam of House and Techno with special emphasis on the Deep component. All this has fermented with his latest project, as co-founder of the Berlin based record label and collective “Slow Life”, which has positioned themselves as one of the most solid products in the German capital.
Truly Madly—”Truly” to his mates— has been playing out recording mixes since the early’90s. He never made a proper go at making a name for himself as a DJ. As he tells it, he simply wasn’t tempted and certainly had no interest in self-promotion. Expect Smooth, thumping grooves as a master of his craft.
PH Project is the energetic duo that started the minimalistic label Time Item in 2018, made up of Pelle and Herra. Pelle has been creating his own deep groovy sound since a young age and is coming to Shelter to play the deeper realms of house, techno, electro, minimal, breakbeat and more. Herra is a regular at well known concepts such as VBX, Mystic Garden, Solar Festival, Welcome To The Future and Into the Woods, known for his excellent mixing skills and infinite collection of rarely known house tracks.
