Junki Inoue

Born in Tokyo in 1989, Junki Inoue is one of the younger “digger” DJs in the electronic dance music scene, known for sharing his personal interpretations of the genre’s history. With a dedicated vinyl collection spanning many years, he is versatile and comfortable playing sets at any time of the night and in various locations, from warm-up to after-hours, in warehouses or open-air settings. Inoue’s signature sound seamlessly blends Japanese and European traditions, offering a precise, spare, and elegant yet warm and inviting experience that’s both deep and hypnotic for the mind and energetic for the body.

Inoue’s journey into electronic music started at the renowned Cabaret nights in Tokyo, where he was introduced to legendary DJs like Fumiya Tanaka, Daniel Bell, Jan Krueger, and Zip, all of whom continue to influence him. At the age of 20, he established his own party, Heike, at Tokyo’s Womb club.

Over the past year, he has played sets in major cities and clubs worldwide, including CONCRETE in Paris, Phonoteque in Montevideo, Zurich, and various cities in Italy. His future in the industry looks promising.

Cap has earned recognition in the European underground electronic music scene due to his precise mixing, impeccable track selection, and unwavering dedication. Over the past decade, his residencies at Club Guesthouse, Sunwaves Festival, and Resolute have solidified his reputation and established him as a trendsetter on dance floors in Bucharest and beyond. His versatile sound encompasses minimal, techno, electro, and deep house, resulting in his distinctive style of tastefully reduced grooves, a progressive narrative, and expert mixing. Cap’s sets showcase his deep understanding of contemporary electronic music, blending iconic tracks with hidden gems to create a dynamic sonic journey that bridges the past, present, and future of underground music.
