Miss Melera

For the past decade Amsterdam based Miss Melera has been captivating and twisting the essence of traditional genres such as deep house, tech-house and techno into a melodic confection that is both fresh, timeless and completely her own. Playing high profile dates in Europe, Asia, South and North America, Miss Melera gives a global audience a chance to discover her vision of electronic music. In 2012 she started her monthly radio show and event called ‘COLOURIZON’, which quickly developed into a global phenomenon. A successful touring career then followed, performing at venues like Warung (Brazil), Fusion Festival (Germany), Baum (Colombia) and of course her Dutch hometown Amsterdam where she hosts a COLOURIZON residency at De Marktkantine.

Patrice Bäumel

Patrice Bäumel has carved a unique path through the European and global techno world. A hero in his adopted hometown of Amsterdam following his residency at Trouw, where he made his name. His releases on lynchpin labels like Kompakt, Get Physical and Watergate consistently soundtrack wild scenes from Ipanema to Ibiza. A DJ/producer with depth and a live wire behind the decks, he forges an electric connection with dancers, insisting that club music must be driven by bravery and radicalism. He came to the realisation that his role was to serve the audience, not to glorify himself, and now every fibre of his being is focused on how best to bring people together and bring both straightforward joy and also the thrill of radical sonic art into their lives.
